MONTHLY RECOLLECTIONS

A monthly recollection is like a mini-retreat. It is a time to stop and step back a little from our daily life, to renew our relationship with God and learn more about how to love others. It is an opportunity to reassess and renew our resolutions, to bring a fresh outlook to our life.

The recollections are directed by Opus Dei, a personal prelature of the Catholic Church. Opus Dei aims to help people of all walks of life to strive for holiness and to evangelise in a natural manner wherever they are, especially through their daily work.

MONTHLY RECOLLECTIONS FOR STUDENTS

*Date and time: 3rd Saturday of the month from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

*Held at the Shalimar Student Centre, 1 Circular Rd, St. Augustine

Schedule:

4:00 pm - Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament & time for private prayer. Priest will be available throughout the evening for confession/spiritual direction.

4:15 pm - Holy Rosary

4:50 pm - Reflective reading from Spiritual Text

5:10 pm - Guided examination of conscience & time for private prayer (feel free to use the reading material provided)

5:20 pm - Guided Meditation & time for private prayer

5:50 pm - Blessing with the Blessed Sacrament

6:00 pm - End
